Our aims can be summarised in three letters; RPG.  Type them in Google and you find links to Role Playing Games and even Rocket Propelled Grenades.  As you might have guessed, our use of RPG stands for something very different!  Reunions, Prayer and Giving.  Together they provide a neat summary of what we hope to achieve under God through Brum Reunion. 

Reunions

An annual reunion that becomes a highlight of our diaries is what we're hoping to establish. The intention is not to simply recreate a houseparty!  Great as they were, as the years roll on we need to think hard about what exactly to include in a reunion.  So even though they may seem to be cobbled together, we do actually aim to host an event which will help us meet our aim of facilitating our partnership in the gospel.  More details can be found at the Reunions section, along with information about the next event.

Prayer

One excellent way we can be partnering in the gospel is through prayer.  Prayer for one another as graduates and prayer for the ongoing work of the gospel on campus.  Through the reunions, this website, prayer letters posted on this site and newsletters we intend to help keep one another informed about how we can be praying.  As students many of us benefited greatly from the many people partnering and praying for us.  We rarely had an inkling there were others doing this!  What an encouragement it would be for the current crop of Christian students to know there are numerous Birmingham graduates around the world committed to praying and partnering with them.

Giving 

As well as partnering in prayer we thought it would be brilliant if collectively we could be partnering in giving.  This is why Brum Reunion is now a registered charitable trust with the Charity Commission (Number 1110159), have a board of trustees to help ensure we fulfil our remit, and are registered with Stewardship. What if as graduates we could fund a staff worker or two?  What if we could fund graduates from amongst our own number who are going out with the good news of the gospel to the world?  What an opportunity!  And what a need!  If you are a UK tax payer the best way to give is by downloading the Gift Aid Form from the Downloads section of this site, completing the details and sending it to Stewardship.
