On Easter Sunday 2 Birmingham University alumni and 1 University employee are involved in starting a new church plant in the Stirchley-Cotteridge region of Birmingham... just spitting distance from Selly Oak!  Dan Steel and Andy Weatherley will, along with Mike Summerfield who works at the University, be leading the planted congregation of about 40 from City Evangelical Church.  A good number of those going with the plant are graduates of Brum universities.

Dan and family (wife Zoe and 2 kids Ellie & Barney) have recently returned from Oakhill Theological College in London to work full-time for the church. Andy recently finished as the UCCF staffworker in Brum and is juggling spending 1/2 the week at Oakhill and 1/2 the week working for the church, his wife Jo works in housing. Mike and Michelle, originally hail from New Zealand and have 2 kids (Gabi and Keziah) - Mike works for 1 day / week for the church.

Grace Church Stirchley-Cotteridge will be meeting at Dell Road Gospel Hall for afternoon services from 4 - 5:15 and doors will open to the world on Easter Sunday.  You are very welcome to join them for the launch meeting.
